Who we are
IRL Open is a scheduling and coordination tool for getting real-life groups together — it answers “when can we play.” IRL Open and Win IRL are operated by Jamnaytac LLC (“we”, “us”). Contact: privacy@irlopen.com.
Using IRL Open without an account
Most of IRL Open works with no account at all. When you create or respond to a proposal, you’re identified only by a display name you type and a random ID stored in your own browser. In that flow we collect:
- Proposal details you enter — the activity, an optional location, the date range, session length, and any hour bounds or quorum.
- Your availability — the time ranges you paint — and your RSVP to a locked game.
- An email address, only if you choose to give one — used to tell you when a time is locked, or to send you a link to edit your response from another device.
Share links and manage links
A proposal is reached through a capability link. Anyone who has the share link can view the proposal and respond — so treat it like the guest list and share it with your group, not the public. A separate manage link can lock, edit, or delete the proposal; keep that one private.
Accounts (when available)
If you create an account — coming for standing availability and groups — we store your email address (via Amazon Cognito), the display name you choose, the groups you create or join, and your weekly standing availability template. Accounts are optional; they exist so you don’t have to re-enter the same availability every week.
Calendar sync (when available, opt-in)
If you connect a calendar, we use free/busy information only. We can see when you’re busy — never what you’re doing. No event titles, no attendees, no locations. It is strictly opt-in, you can revoke it at any time, and we store only the derived busy intervals needed to remove real conflicts from your availability (and, where we can, nothing at all — querying on demand instead).
How we use it
To run the scheduling: aggregate availability, rank suggested windows, and notify participants when a time is locked. We do not sell your personal information, and the app contains no advertising or third-party analytics. Our marketing site (www.irlopen.com) uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookieless service that reports only aggregate traffic statistics — it sets no cookies and does not identify you.
Sharing
- Your display name and the availability you paint are visible to others viewing the same proposal — that’s the product. Nothing about your response is visible to anyone outside that proposal’s participants.
- Infrastructure providers (Amazon Web Services for hosting, storage, sign-in, and transactional email) process data on our behalf.
Retention & deletion
- Anonymous proposals expire. They and their responses are deleted about 90 days after creation.
- Proposals tied to a group or account are kept while that account is active.
- You can edit or delete your own response at any time, and request deletion of your account and data at privacy@irlopen.com.
Your controls
- Edit or remove any response you submitted.
- Ask us to delete your account and associated data (see above).
- Revoke calendar access at any time, which deletes the stored busy intervals (when that feature is available).
